ADOPTIONS, NAME CHANGES & BIRTH CERTIFICATE CHANGES
Mr. Wendrovsky represents and assists prospective adoptive parents in the obtaining of private party adoptions in the Surrogate Courts of New York City and Nassau County, including adult adoptions.
Mr. Wendrovsky frequently assists in the obtaining of court-ordered name changes of both children and adults, in the Supreme Court, within the City of New York.
He also is experienced in bringing adminsitrative cases for the obtaining amendments of birth certificates, both for children and adults, through the New York City Health Department, and has successfully has a number of petitions approved by the Supreme Courts of New York State, to change birth certificates.
Mr. Wendrovsky has successfully opposed a last name(surname) change of a minor child in a reported decision.
GUARDIANSHIPS
Mr. Wendrovsky assists clients in obtaining Letters of Guardianship for children and disabled adults in the Family Courts, Supreme Courts and Surrogate Courts, in connection with a variety of proceedings.
